I am going to attempt to attach a link to the school where I will be doing the artist residency. On there sight, you can find links to the town and cool things around there.
Okay--I just looked up Ballyvaughan using google and say some gorgeous picts! But my favorite line from the description is this: "Ballyvaughan is in comfortable driving distance of some of the best known landmarks of Ireland. Who has not heard of the Poulnabrone Dolmen, a burial tomb more than 5,000 years old, or the Cliffs of Moher?" Just as soon as I learn to say, "Poulnabrone Dolmen", I'll be using that as a conversation starter.
Hey Jo! I just wanted you to know that I am going to miss you soooo much while you are gone. I know this is the trip of a lifetime and I am very happy for you. I hope everything is wonderful for you while you are there. You are a great artist and a great person and I know you'll succeed. Kiss the stone for me!!! Love ya!!!;-)
